Love Letter

     In honor of Scorpio season, which marks my spiritual anniversary, I am inclined to write a letter to myself in reflection of my journey thus far. I hope whatever I share inspires other to shower themselves with love and affection.

Dear Shirleen, I am very proud of who you have become! Never in my wildest dreams did I believe we were capable of being so aligned with our soul. Despite the self limiting beliefs the world taught you since birth, you are actively decolonizing your mind!  Despite the intense rage you feel towards the world, you find ways to transmute that energy into self determination, by remembering that your ancestors have always been spiritual warriors. This is nothing new since the will power they possessed lifetimes ago, is also within you! I am happy to know that this knowledge of self found its way to you in this lifetime, and you were very eager to receive it.

Whatever stage of life you are currently experiencing, rest assured that it is aligned with the highest version of you! I say this confidently because you end up being me, so wherever steps are taken, no matter how uncertain they may seem, you are exactly where you are supposed to be. You went from aspiring to be recognized as the bitch to be to actually embodying being that bitch! Therefore, while doing the deconstructing work needed to be a better person, don't demonize who you used to be.

     Not only am I proud to wake up to you everyday, but I eagerly look forward to witnessing how much more you evolve! You are actively shedding old versions of yourself on a daily basis and ascending to newer spiritual heights. I wonder, how much higher does it get? How deeper can you love yourself? How many more people will you inspire to choose authenticity by simply embodying yourself? How much more aligned can you be beyond my current experience? I look forward to finding out together!
