Pluto in Aquarius

It’s currently Aquarius Season, and this is the first time we are experiencing it with Pluto in the sign of Aquarius. The last time Pluto was in Aquarius was between 1778 and 1798, a period of radical transformation that brought the world the industrial revolution. Various revolutions, such as the Haitian, French, and American revolutions, occurred during this period, highlighting the importance of this astrological transit.

None of us will live to see the next Pluto transit in Aquarius since it takes Pluto 248 years to return to the same sign. Luckily, Pluto will remain in Aquarius for the next 20 years, which means the world as we currently know it will look drastically different. It is also important to note that America is currently 248 years old, and empires, on average, are expected to last around 250 years.

So what does all this mean? Aquarius is associated with technology, enlightenment, revolutions, and humanitarianism. Based on history, we can expect a period of radical transformation, possibly through enlightenment, such as technological or medical advancements in society, which we are already experiencing through the rapid rise of AI.

Pluto is associated with rebirth, transformation, power, and control, so being in the sign of Aquarius can lead to a drastic shift in power dynamics from institutions to the people. It can also indicate the symbolic death of the current world as we know it into a new age of enlightenment that could either be detrimental or beneficial to society at large.

With the Sun and Pluto currently in the sign of Aquarius, pay attention to personal transformations or awakenings that could set the foundation for your next 20 years. To better understand the potential impact of this astrological transit, I encourage you to learn more about the last time Pluto was in Aquarius.
