Scorpio Moon Reflections

In honor of Scorpio Season and the upcoming New Moon in Scorpio happening after Halloween, I will reflect on the power of Scorpio. As someone with a Scorpio moon placement, I am especially looking forward to what the new moon on November 1st has to offer. Here are some of the themes you may experience whenever the Moon is in Scorpio.

Scorpio Moons can experience a wounded connection with a maternal figure. In astrology, the moon rules our maternal figures, while Scorpio is known for deep emotional wounds. Scorpio becomes the phoenix when they transform their traumas and reclaim their power. So, this upcoming New Moon in Scorpio may bring up hidden inner child wounds, maternal wounds, or unprocessed emotional wounds.

Scorpio Moons also require deep emotional connections and a comfortable space to express that without fear. We tend to feel things intensely, which can result in safeguarding our emotions as a defense mechanism. We like to be in control of our emotions, which can result in the repression of emotional wounds instead of choosing vulnerability and addressing them head-on. As a result, this upcoming New Moon in Scorpio may address the release of emotional control by learning to let things go.

Scorpio Moons are gifted with highly intuitive knowledge and the ability to see through people’s shadow wounds. Since Scorpio is very comfortable with their shadow self, a Scorpio Moon will help shine a light on the emotional wounds a person may be trying to hide from themselves and others. Therefore, this New Moon in Scorpio may introduce you to your emotionally wounded shadow self. Embracing this version of yourself by engaging in shadow work will allow you to reclaim your emotional power instead of being ruled by your emotional traumas.
