The Astrology of My Website

This Libra Season marks the 4th anniversary of my website launch. As an astrology lover, I decided to do a deep dive into the astrology of my website launch, and the discovery was surprising.

In my birth chart, Libra is in my 12th house, which is associated with spiritual transcendence and the afterlife. This means that during Libra season, my 12th house is highlighted, and spiritual matters are more prevalent.

The ruler of my 12th house is the 9th house, which is associated with the divine and publication. I found this intriguing because I published my spiritual website when my spiritual and divine houses were both highlighted in my birth chart.

I further looked at the ruler of my 9th house, which is my 1st house—associated with self and identity. I was amazed that the name of my website is Shirleen’s Divine Self, a reflection of both my 9th and 1st houses and self-publication. Mind you, when I launched my site, I didn’t even understand astrology or know how to read my birth chart!

Scorpio sits in my 1st house in a Gemini degree, known for communication, including writing. My website addresses spiritual matters, which are considered taboo or esoteric knowledge—Scorpio energy. I share my knowledge through writing blogs –Gemini degree. I also write about my interpretation of spirituality based on personal experiences—1st house energy.

Four years ago, I was also going through my 1st house profection year, meaning themes of identity and self were at the forefront. My 1st house ruler is the 9th house, meaning my understanding of the divine was important that year. Hence the name of my website—Shirleen’s Divine Self.

The astrology behind my website is a testament to how astrology impacts our daily lives, even when we're not aware of it. I am grateful that I chose to expand my astrology knowledge because I now have a better understanding of why I felt so drawn to publishing this website four years ago.
